For this spell you will need 13 pink candles A candle holder A glass jar with a metal lid (2 oz size or less is recommended) Sugar Reconciliation Oil. 5 packets of Reconciliation Herb bath (enough for 13 days) Reconciliation Powder A fire proof plate A slip of paper A pen or a pencil with no eraser A tool to inscribe candles, like a pin, needle, nail, etc…
This spell should be started on the first night of the new moon, when you can see the first sliver of the moon, also called The Turn of the Moon. Take the slip of paper and on one side write your name. Across from your name, write the person, your lover, that you wish to reconcile with. Take a dab of honey and put it on both your name and their name. Then fold the paper in half so your names come together, as if you were in a sweet kiss. Fold this paper up two more times. Then place it into the jar. Cover the paper sugar until the jar is filled.Taste the sugar and then close the jar up.
Take one of the pink candles and inscribe on it “Your name, their name, Let us Reconcile”. Write this in a spiral around the candle, like on a barber pole or a candy cane. Until the candle is filled.
Take some of the reconciliation oil, and anoint the candle with the oil. Set the candle into the candle holder, and place the candle holder on top of the jar. Make a circle of reconciliation powder around the jar and candle set up. Light the candle. Let the candle burn down until it goes out.
As the candle burns, prepare the herb bath by steeping a teaspoon of the herbs in a quart/liter of hot water to make a tea.Add this tea to a bathtub of comfortable temperature water, or mix with a gallon of water in a large container to pour over yourself. Which ever method you use, collect a teaspoon of the bath water that has been in contact with your body, and keep it in bottle.
Repeat this every night for 13 nights. The last night should be the day just before the full moon.
The following night, take all the collected water from the 13 nights, and put all the reconciliation powder you used, and any wax remnants from the candles into a small paper bag, and go to the crossroads between Midnight and 3 am. While at the crossroads, call out the name of your lover that you wish to reconcile with. Call their name 7 times. Then pour out the accumulated water from your baths into the crossroads, and leave the paper bag with powder and wax in the crossroads, and call out saying “Let us reconcile, and be loving, sweet, kind and united”. Then leave the crossroads without looking back. .

This spell is meant to give you that sparkle, where people are just drawn to you, and when they are drawn to you, they will also fall under your influence, and be easily persuaded.
Mix together the Influence and Look Me Over Bath crystals. Take a tablespoon of that mixture and mix it into a quart of water until it dissolves. Take a wash cloth and soak it in the bath and use it to wipe your body, starting at your ankles and going up to your neck, and including your face if you desire.
Take the remaining water, and use that on a lucky stone you have purchased in advance. This can be any stone, but birth stones are highly recommended. This stone can be loose, but if it is a pendant, or a ring, or a center piece of a necklace, where people can notice it, it works better.. You can drop the stone into the water, or just sprinkle a small amount with your hands. Dry the stone, and then anoint it with the combination of the Influence and Look Me Over oil.
Allow your body to air dry, and when you’re dry anoint your body with Influence and Look Me Over oil. Start with your feet and rub a small amount on the soles of your feet, behind your knees, just above your navel, on your wrists, the bend of your elbow, at the meeting point of your collarbones, and behind the lobes of your ears. Then put on clean fresh clothes, put on your stone or have it in your pocket, or purse etc… and mix together the Influence and Look Me Over Incense, and burn some, and waft the smoke over yourself and walk through it.
Take your picture, and write around your image “Look At Me” and “Heed My Wishes” Put the picture down and sprinkle a ring of Influence and Look Me Over Powder over the words and around your image. Set a candle holder on top of this. Anoint the red candle with Influence and Look Me Over oils. It can be any size of candle, but the best results I have experienced are if the burn time aligns with the time you will be out. A short evening or an interview can work well with a four hour chime candle. A six hour taper can be good for a day at work or a long evening.
While the candle burns, take out a mirror. Any size mirror, whether a compact or hand mirror, or even set the candle before a vanity mirror. Look into the mirror, either with the candle reflected in it, or holding the mirror before the candle and looking into the mirror. Focus your gaze on your eyes and face, stirring the power of glamour and fascination within you. Know that your presence and focused attention radiates personal magnetism, drawing whoever you desire to fall under your influence.
I chose a red candle for this spell because of how Red is a powerful and attention grabbing color. You could use other bright colors as well, such as yellow, orange or pink.
Brew motherwort (leonorus cardiaca) into a tea and use it for a bath or house sprinkle to bring peace to the home to heal domestic strife or remove melancholy. Motherwort is also good for helping women’s health.
To remove a curse of impotency, Brew Leonorus leonotis leaves aka lion’s tail into a tea, and a man should rinse his genitalia with it for 3 days to break the curse.
Take a photo of the patient and sprinkle it with fresh or dried peppermint leaves. Take a blue or white candle, and anoint it with Healing oil, and set it over the picture or next to it. Light the candle and pray for the patients healing and recovery. When the candle has burned out, take the peppermint leaves and dispose of them at the crossroads. Repeat this spell as desired, each time use new peppermint leaves.
Make a tea with rosemary. At it steeps pray over it Psalm 67:1-2 1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
Let it cool and strain out the herbs, and save this rosemary water as a hand rinse before engaging in healing work.
Make a small “broom” of rosemary. Use this to “sweep” a person who has been afflicted with a magical illness, while praying for their healing using the Lord’s Prayer and James 5:15
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Mint family magic: A grab bag of minty fresh rites
To aid your mental abilities, make a tea of spearmint, peppermint, and horehound. Pray Psalm 19 and drink a cup of this tea, especially the night before any day with a major mental task. This will help your mental abilities, and give you peaceful and restful sleep the night before.
Put together Rosemary, Sage, and Pennyroyal and tie it together. Mix together Uncrossing bath salts and water and pray Psalm 90 and Psalm 91 over it. Use the small bouquet of herbs to sprinkle this water and in doing so you will cast out evil from any place
Take field balm aka Creeping Charlie (Glechoma hederacea) clarity oil and a yellow candle. Anoint the yellow candle with the clarity oil, and strew a ring of field balm around it. This will reveal enemies to you, especially enemies who are using harmful magic against you.For greater effect do this on a Tuesday.
Keep a bowl of mint leaves (fresh or dried) in your home to attract benevolent and helpful spirits to your home, to aid you and protect you from evil.

This spell cannot be cast for a specific person. If this person is already in your life, then the spell will just cause them to come forward. I will also say, that this spell can take a year or more to produce results.
This is the spell I did that after a year, I met my now husband of 7 years.
Step 1) Take a glass jar and empty the contents of the True Love herb bath into the jar. Cover that with the contents of the bottle of Florida Water. For seven days, shake it once a day. then strain out the herbs thoroughly.
Step 2) Take the slip of paper and fold it in half, and then open it again.. On one side write your name. On the other side write “My true Love”. Fold it back so the words come together like two lovers kissing, then fold it two more times. Take the red string and wrap it around the paper to hold it closed. Put that into the jar, and then cover it in your chosen sweetener. Taste it, and recognize the sweetness of love. Put the lid on the jar and secure it with your hand tightly.
You are going to repeat the following once a day for 7 days. You should start on a Friday morning, preferably before dawn. If you can time this to be during the waxing moon, and even better to start with the return of the moon (the first day the new crescent moon that can be seen) is even better.
Step 3) Prepare a bath tub with comfortable temperature water. Add a few drops of the True Love Florida Water to the bath. Immerse yourself in the water for no less than 5 minutes. Get out, and take a cup and set aside some of the bath water and let the rest drain off. Air dry and anoint your body with the True Love oil, and then put on clean fresh clothing. Take the cup of bath water and go outside. Pour out the contents into a crossroads while face east.
Step 4) Take the candle and anoint it with True Love oil. Put that into a candle holder securely. Set that on top of the jar filled with sweetener.
Step 5) Take the paired lodestones and set them about a foot away from each other. Anoint them with True Love oil. As you anoint them, name one of them for you, and the other one “My True Love”. Take a pinch of magnetic sand, and put it onto each lodestone. For the next 7 days, each day, you will move the lodestones closer to each other. If you have them a foot apart, about an inch a day for each stone is sufficient. They should be touching by the 6-7th day.
Step 6) take the true love powder, and form a heart around the candle on the honey jar, and the lodestones. Just use a pinch, and add another pinch each day for 7 days. By the 7th day, the heart should be clearly defined.
Step 7) Light the candle. A big candle can and should burn easily for an hour or two each day. On the seventh day, let it burn until it goes out. While it burns on each day, focus your mind on coming together with your true love. By true love, I mean a love that is aligned with you, as much as you are aligned with them. Values, goals, shared interests, Being able to empathize, understand, accept, forgive, support and work together aka for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish.. You don’t have to do this the entire time the candle is burning, but 15-20 minutes should be enough. While you are focusing, open yourself to receiving or putting out the sign that you met this person. It can be anything that you wish, or you feel led to. One recommendation is that they give you a specific color of rose on the first date, or that start to talk bout an interest, and it happens to be the exact same interest that you have, or that they are wearing a specific item with a specific symbol, like the jersey of your favorite team sport which has been signed by your favorite player.
Step 8) On the final day, collect all the True Love Powder and any other remnants, like wax, from the spell. Go back to the crossroads and while facing East, ask for (or one might say pray) to be guided to your true love, as much as your true love is guided to you, that you come together mutually in love, desire, affection and friendship, and then blow all the True Love Powder away to the east. If you have a lot of wax remnants, you can wrap them up in a brown paper bag, and leave it in the eastern section of the crossroads. Then go back home without looking back. You can continue to anoint your body with the True Love oil as often as you want, and splash some of the True Love Florida water on you.
Keep the jar in a clean place off the floor. Keep the paired lodestones in a box, and continue to give them pinches of magnetic sand periodically (once a week, once a month, etc) If there is too much magnetic sand, you can clean it off, put it back into the container, and then keep “Feeding” the lodestones with magnetic sand. Once you a year, take the lodestones, clean off the magnetic sand and bathe them in True Love Florida Water. Dry them off, anoint them in the true love oil, and continue to give pinches of magnetic sand. You can keep the lodestones with the honey jar together. I recommend putting the lodestones in a bowl on top of the honey jar, and putting them into a large enough box, to hold both and keep them free of dust.

Take the piece of string and lay it out on the work space from left to right. On the left hand end of the string, place your picture and on the left hand image, place the image of the other person. Take the white candle and anoint it with Blessing oil. Place it into the candle holder and put it over your picture. Take the black candle and anoint it with Cut the Cord oil. Place that into the candle holder on top of the picture of the other person. Place the bowl of flowers on the left side, and the bowl of salt on the right side. Light the candles and say: Cut the cord, Cut the cord, this connection is no more. Severed and separated, unallied, Free to leave, No longer tied.“ Anoint the center of the string with Cut the Cord oil and then take the scissors and cut the cord in half. Carefully move the separated cord halves to their respective sides, perhaps winding them up and placing them with their photos. Take the Cut the Cord Powder and lay down a line of powder between the two candles. Allow the black candle to burn for fifteen minutes before taking the candle and putting the lit flame into the salt to snuff it. Take the picture, that picture’s half of cord, the salt, and the black candle and put it all into a small paper bag. Take them outside and throw them all away into a trash bin. Allow the white candle to burn down completely. If any wax is not consumed, take that, along with the bowl of flowers, your picture, and your half of string and place it all into a white flannel bag. Tie the bag up tightly, and keep it somewhere safe, such as in a keepsake box. This will help you have inner peace and self love to keep away from such toxic people, while attracting better people who will love you honestly and with deception, whether as friends, lovers, or chosen family.

I have never felt much of a connection to Imbolc and Brigid who is the more popular goddess associated with February and it’s beginning. In searching for alternatives, I found a connection to Juno. Having a preference for Graeco Roman divinities, this is who I choose to devote the first cross quarter feast to. Juno/Hera often gets the short end of the stick in most popular media these days. Usually the stories of her vengeance on the bastard children of Zeus from his uncountable paramours is the most often told story, and for that she is painted as being cruel, wicked, evil, vindictive, a harridan, and generally a bad example of a woman. They often overlook her other qualities, and other stories about her. One overlooked and rather important thing, that is often left out from modern retellings is that she was the divine patron of Jason of Jason and the Argonauts. Jason’s success in his journey came about because she favored him and helped him. As long as he held her favor, his ventures worked out for him. It wasn’t until he lost Hera’s favor, by screwing over Medea and breaking promises to her, and abandoning his own children, did his fortunes change and he ended up losing, hard. The month of February is also named for an title of Juno, that of Juno Februa, or Juno of Purification. The month February in the old Roman calendar was closely connected with purification, which would culminate on the 15th of February with the Februa purification. After this it would become a time of feasting and honoring the Gods, the dead, the Lares, and the prosperity of the people and the city itself as evidenced by it’s stability and prosperity.
If you want to improve your psychic abilities, undertake the following practices for 29 days. You can start at any time, but it will be easier to keep track if you start at the first of the month, or if you can start at a particular moon phase, as a complete cycle will return you back to that moon phase where you started.
Drink a cup of mugwort tea every day. Mugwort is an herb known to aid in psychic abilities, and it is common for some people to drink it as a tea. (check any for contrary recommendations for yourself) If mugwort is not your choice of herb, star anise also makes a good psychic herbal tea.
Take a picture of yourself and place it under a candle holder. Using a white candle of any kind, tealight, chime, or even a glass encased vigil candle. Fix the candle with Psychic Vision oil or Aunt Sally’s Lucky Dream oil. As the candle burns each day, spend 5-15 minutes sitting in silence and letting your inner voice communicate with you. This may take the form of visions, sounds, smells, tastes, sensations, or just a knowingness.
To help with dreams, keep a dream journal. Keep it nearby while you sleep and whenever you wake up, whatever you recall of your dreams, write it down in the journal. If you don’t recall anything, write this down as well, as it shows that you’re wanting to recall and can stimulate recall. This journal can be a notebook, sketchbook, even an app on your phone, or sound recording.
During this 29 day period, take 4 spiritual baths using psychic vision or lucky dream bath crystals. Collect your bath water and dispose of it at a crossroads while facing towards the rising sun.
To help with dreams, you can write down the 23rd Psalm on a sheet of paper. Fold this up and place it under your pillow while you sleep. This will help bring fortunate dreams that can give you insight, lucky numbers, guidance to resolve problems and many more.
During and towards the end of the 29 days, you will find your psychic abilities to have increased and noticeably as well as an increase in dreaming and lucky or prophetic dreams.
This the opposite of the previous operation in a sense. I also strongly recommend that you have completed the work of the previous post before you attempt this work.
The natal chart also recognizes that you have your own personal devil or evil spirit. In Hellenic astrology the 12th house was named the Kakodaimon of the “Evil Spirit.” For this reason I would look to the 12th house to identify the nature of the this spirit, but Agrippa indicates that the 6th house might also be used. This house is also known as the house of misfortune, so it makes sense why Agrippa and his sources may have looked to the 6th house. One of the ways of determining the nature of the Evil Spirit is to look at the planet that rules the 12th house. The sign that rules the 12th house, its ruling planet indicates the nature of the Evil Spirit. That nature will show you that inner parts where you have difficulty, but it will also show exterior areas of life which can be challenging for you in various ways. For example, if Jupiter is the lord, the inner problem may be a tendency towards overeating, but also of being an ignorant blowhard who takes contrary positions for no reason. Externally it may make you wasteful with money, and drawn to people who will feed your vanity and arrogance. Mars being the ruler, internally it may make you dishonest and self centered, taking actions only for your benefit, regardless of how it may hurt others. Externally it may make you drawn to arguments which you will lose, and also willing to do anything, ANYTHING, to win. With that in mind, you can then derive a means of binding this evil spirit to restrict it’s abilities to cause you harm. It is usually the best practice to have a specific name of this evil spirit to bind it with. Just as there are systems for deriving names from the natal chart for the good spirit, there are also methods of deriving names of the evil spirit. This is usually the opposite of the good spirit, using a kind of reverse and inverse method. You can also look to psychic ability to discern a name, or engage in divination outside of astrology for the name. Once you have a name, even if it just “My personal devil” or “The evil spirit” etc, and you know it’s nature from looking at the 12th house, or making opposite calculations of the hyleg planets of your chart, that will give you insight into the weaknesses of the spirit. For example, if the nature is of Mars, you can look to the planets that are not harmonious with Mars, which are quite a few. Venus is a strong contender, as Venus is said to nullify the afflictions of Mars. But Saturn is also effective, as it is cold and dark compared to the light and heat that fiery Mar is is to possess. The cooling waters of the Moon also make a good choice. Whereas if the spirits nature is Mercury, You might think Saturn, but it is said that Mercury is the only planet that is harmonious with Saturn. Other good choices are Jupiter, which is said to be the panacea of Saturnian afflictions, but the Sun or the Moon are also good. The Sun bringing light into Saturn’s darkness, and warmth and good things, while the Moon also brings light, but it is also fast compared to Saturn’s slowness, and changeable compared to Saturn’s enduring and constant nature. Here is a quick list of planets that make good oppositions. Saturn – Sun, Moon, Jupiter Jupiter – Saturn, Mercury, Mars Mars – Saturn, Venus, Moon Sun – Saturn, Moon Venus – Mars, Saturn, Jupiter Mercury – Jupiter, Mars Moon – Saturn, Sun, Mars .Another consideration for the opposing planet is which one seems to be contrary to how that afflicting planet maybe manifesting your life. Isolated and depressed and Saturn? Go to Jupiter. Raging and Vengeful from Mars? Go to Venus or the Moon to cool that hot head and become more forgiving and peace inclined. Once you the preceding information, pick a day of the week that corresponds with your goal. Starting in the first planetary hour of the day, which starts are sunrise, Collect all of your tools together. You’re going to need: Paper
Calamus Root chips
Knot Weed
John the Conqueror root chips
Beeswax or wax in general
a colored candle that corresponds to the contrary planet.
String or thread that corresponds to the contrary planet.
Oil and incense of the contrary planet.
One a small piece of paper, write down the name of the spirit and then write your name over it crosswise so the spirit’s name is covered by your name completely. Fold that piece of paper up into a small square, and take some softened beeswax and some chips of High John the Conqueror, Calamus, and Knotweed and form a small ball with the paper at the middle, and the wax and herb chips surrounding it. Take the colored string and start wrapping that wax ball in string until you get a ball of string around it, kind of like a jack ball. Tie the string off once you have finished. I made mine about the size of golf ball, but feel free to follow your intuition in making the ball as big or as small as you want. Take a candle in the color of the opposing planet, anointed with the planetary oil, and drip that wax on the ball until it is covered again in that wax. Once this ball is complete, you can then choose how you want to store it. The best option is to store it in a container that is filled and reflects the opposing planet. A blue or white box for Jupiter, for example. But then you may keep the box in a naturally Jupiterian space, like up high, in a well lit area, surrounded with images plenty, abundance, or images of major well know religions, especially if your area, like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism etc… A Mars spirit is greatly weakened by being stuck in a freezer, in a sense turning it into a freezer spell to chill the fire and heat of Mars. A Solar spirit placed into a black container that is sealed against light and placed into a cool dark place to stem the light and heat of the evil solar spirit. An evil Venus spirit might be kept in a metal box of ammo or knives, in the dark, and away from social gatherings or pleasant places where flowers, music or art is found. All of this is meant to minimize and reduce the influence of the evil spirit and to place it under your control so you can address those problems more easily. You do actually want to keep this item around, but again, restrained. The idea being that you have bound this spirit and made it completely subject to your will. Just tossing it to make it leave isn’t the best use of it, and keeping it under lock and key, and under heel is better.

Another approach to finding personal empowerment can be found in western astrology. In his 3 books of Occult Philsophy, Cornelius Agrippa explains that all peope have a spirit or angel is assigned to them when they are born. By seeking out your personal angel or good spirit of your natal chart, you bring bring about an increase of good luck and fortune, gain advice, and numerous other benefits.
The key to this is spirit is understanding the nature of this spirit, which falls under one of the 7 Classical Planets ie Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn. There are many ways to do this. The simplest method is to look at the planet that rules the cusp of the 11th house. The sign on that cusp, and it’s exact degree can be examined to determine the which planet rules that house. In Hellenic astrology, the name of the 11th house was the Agathodaimon or the Good Spirit. Thus why the Lord of the 11th house is an indicator of the nature of the Good Spirit. The sign that rules this house has a ruling planet. The ruling planet is also the planet that your Good Spirit falls under. So if your 11th house ruler is Libra, then Venus is the nature of your Good Spirit. If the ruler was Capricorn, then Saturn is the nature of the good spirit. This is a simple method, but it can be made more precise with a detailed look into the most influential planet at that degree. For example, in Capricorn, at specific degrees of Capricorn, the planetary ruler of that degree might actually be Mars, as Mars is exalted in Capricorn and certain degrees have more Mars influence than Saturn.
Another method is determining the almuten figuris of your natal chart. This is a bit more complex method as it requires identifying several specific points in your natal chart. Even this method also has some variations. The foundational method is to identify the position of your natal Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Point of Fortune, and Syzygy. While the first three may be more familiar to people, the Point of Fortune and the Syzygy is not commonly talked about. The Point of Fortune is a calculated point. It is determined by looking at the distance from the Sun and Moon. This distance is then applied to the Ascendant, and it’s end point is the Point of Fortune. Depending upon if you were born at or night, the calculation will change, with it starting at the Sun in a day chart, and starting with the Moon in a night chart. The Syzygy is the position of the moon when it was Dark or Full before the time in the chart. Of course, if your moon is Dark, or Full, in your natal chart, then your moon position is also your syzygy. So, if the moon is waxing in your chart, then your syzygy will be the previous dark moon, and if the moon is waning, it will be the previous full moon. All of these points are examined, and added by which planets have dignities in them. All the dignities are calculated together, Rulership, Exaltation, Triplicity, Term and Face. In some systems, they will also include the planetary Day, and the Hour as well, and also the house the planet occupies in the natal chart, as some houses are considered to be more influential than others. A planet in the first house is much stronger than a planet in the 3rd house for example. The planet with the highest sum is considered the Almuten Figuris, or the Ruling planet of the Natal chart, and this planet thus also indicates the nature of the angel or good spirit of the natal chart.
With this method, sometimes the ruling planet may surprise you. The influence of day, hour and house can take a relatively weak planet and make it a powerhouse over a planet in rulership, but in a weak house, and lacking day and hour. This is not a bad thing however, and it can indicate that your fortune and spiritual advancement lays with the nature of that planet, which might require you to break out self imposed limitations and see things differently.
Once you know that planet, you can then start to reach out to call that spirit more closely into your life. For your consideration I will include simple connections on how you can construct and personalize the ritual, based upon your ruling planet.
For the Moon – You should start on a Monday, in the hour of the Moon. Moonrise, especially during a full moon, and also when the Moon is at the zenith of the sky during a full moon are also good times to commence or perform this ritual. White candles are recommended, but other colors can work as well, like silver, and pale or pastel colors, especially pastel blues, pastel pinks, pastel yellows, and pastel greens. A good incense to use is Jasmine, but camphor is also a good option. You can also make or purchase a complex incense blend for the moon. I also recommend using a planetary oil of the moon. A camphor oil blend can work well, as well as jasmine, or mugwort, and again there are also complex oil blend recipes online, and many shops sell such blends as well.
For the Sun – You should start on a Sunday, in the hour of the Sun. the first hour is at sunrise, but the 2nd Sun hour is often a little bit after Noon, so also choosing High Noon, when the sun is at the sky’s zenith is also a good choice. Candle colors of yellow, orange, gold, or white are recommended. A good incense is frankincense, but I also find that warm amber incenses draw forth solar influence quite well. A Sun incense blend that you make or purchase is also a good option. You can make a Sun oil with bay leaves and olive oil, or using the essential oil of bay laurel in olive oil that works very well. Other solar plants like St John’s wort works well, Sunflower petals, calendula petals, chamomile and angelica root also make a good solar oil.
For Mercury – You should start on a Wednesday, in the hour of Mercury. As Mercury tends to follow the Sun closely, and is difficult to see against his bright light, those are the best times. Sometimes Mercury is acting as the morning or evening star, and you can time this work to those periods as well, if you want to go to that effort. The candle colors I recommend are shades and tints of purple, brown, orange or gold, or rainbow or mixed colors, or sparkling candles ie glitter coated. I like holographic glitter, but any glitter will work. I find mercury works well with cinnamon incense, mastic resin, elemi resin, or storax if you can find them. A mercury oil can also be made from the same resins or from cinnamon EO. Anis, fennel, celery seed essential oils also make a good oil or incense.
For Venus – The day and hour of Venus works well, as does locating Venus as the Morning or Evening Star. Venus also doesn’t get very far from the sun, but when it is far away, it is often taking the position of one of these stars, and it can work well to invoke your Venusian spirit when those stars are visible above the horizon. The colors for Venus that I recommend are rich Green, rich or intense Pink, White, Turquoise, Blue-Green, Peach. I highly recommend a Rose incense and Rose scent in your oil, but Vanilla also works well, and any floral scent that you can enjoy. Orris oil aka Queen Elizabeth root oil is also a good.
For Mars – The day and hour of Mars. If you want to track Mars, he can be apparent at night and you can time him for when he rises above the horizon, or when he reaches the Zenith of the sky as well. The color of Mars is Red. No other color is really recommended. I prefer using the Pine as an incense, but Musk also resonates well with Mars. If you can afford dragon’s blood resin, that is also favored by Mars in my experience. For the oil, An herbal oil can be made with Basil, known to be a mars plant, but if you want something floral Tobacco flower makes a good scent although expensive essential oil. Just macerating hot dried chilis in oil can also make a good Mars oil.
For Jupiter – The day and hour of Jupiter, and also when Jupiter rises, or when Jupiter is at the zenith of the sky. The colors for Jupiter is royal blue, or cerulean blue, white or gold. The incenses I recommend is cedarwood, sandalwood, fir or juniper, or just burn powdered nutmeg on charcoals. A single scent Jupiter oil can be made from any of the incenses as well.
For Saturn – The Day and Hour of Saturn, or when Saturn rises or reaches the zenith of the sky. The colors for Saturn is primarily black, but shades (that is colors that have some black in them) of Green, dark greys, darker earth tones, and also White. For incense I prefer using Myrrh, but I also enjoying using Patchouli for it’s rich dark earth notes, if you want something unusual, Valerian root also makes a good incense, although it smells like feet in enough concentration. A good oil for Saturn can also be made with Patchouli, or Vetiver, of which the root is used to make the essential oil. Valerian root essential oil also makes a good Saturn oil.
As part of any of the rituals, I recommend making an offering of clean water in addition to the incense. Just about any spiritual being enjoys clean water, as a means to refresh itself. A simple blessing over the water is enough, in a clean glass.
You can call out the spirit through prayers, conjurations to the planets, poetry of the planets etc. A popular form is using the Orphic Hymns, which have hymns dedicated to the Graeco Roman Gods associated with the planets. You can also find prayers and invocations to spirits of the planets and then ask them to connect you with your natal spirit. The Olympic spirits, The Archangels of the Planets, The Planetary Intelligences and Spirits, and more. You can also freeform or compose your own prayer or evocation.
In Agrippa he also gives a method to determine the name of this spirit. It can be done using any alphabet, but Agrippa gave examples using Hebrew and Latin. Essentially each degree is assigned a letter, starting with A at the first degree of Aries, and repeating until the last letter at the final degree of Pisces. Then look to the previous planets and points ie Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Point of Fortune, Syzygy. Those points will give you the letter that make up the name of your spirit. This may not have any vowels in it, so you can use your own inspiration to fill in vowel sounds, or just make your best guess. You can also forgo this method, and just reach out the spirit, until it gives you a name to use.
You should repeat this ritual every week, on the same day and hour, until you feel certain you have made contact with your natal spirit. This can take many forms. It may come with a vision, or a dream. It may come as a knowingness, or as a clairaudient experience where you hear a voice speaking to you, and answering your questions and aiding you. It may happen quickly with just one session. For myself it took 9 months, starting on the Winter Solstice and finishing on the Autumnal equinox. Your mileage may vary.
