suffers the earth to bring forth shining fruitsfor rich and poor alike.

It is not the quick expression that is brilliant and then vanished, like a stroke of lightning, or a shooting, star, but the steady and patient action that keeps things moving forward, like a farmer tending his crops, or a gardener cultivating his garden. Sometimes all you have is patience and devotion to keep you moving through the day.
